A new unusual project called Prompt has appeared on Kickstarter. This is a watch with no numbers or hands. There is also no display or Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connectivity. No notifications or reminders: it's just a clock that tells the time in the most minimal way possible.
In the place where a regular watch has a dial, a large button is installed in the Prompt. If you press it, you will feel the vibration. One signal means that it is the first quarter of an hour now, two - that it is now the second, and so on. To find out more accurate time, hold down the button for three seconds - then the indicator light will show exactly how many minutes have passed since the beginning of the hour.
It is important to note that the creators relied on the fact that you know what time it is, because this chronometer will only help with the minutes. If desired, the base can be removed from the bracelet and used as a pocket watch.
Prompt is powered by a regular CR2032 battery, if necessary, you can replace it yourself. At the same time, the entire device weighs only 38 g - already taking into account the battery. This is one of the key advantages of abandoning modern technologies like connecting to a smartphone or accessing the Internet.
The device was priced at $ 195 (≈12,920 rubles), to order is available on Kickstarter now. The pre-order distribution will begin in August.
