Xiaomi has announced the new Black Shark 3 gaming smartphone and its Pro version. The older model received an enlarged screen the size of a small tablet and two physical buttons on the right panel - they mimic the triggers of gamepads. The rest of the devices are identical.
The base Black Shark has a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 270Hz sensor, the latest Snapdragon 865 processor, up to 12 GB LPDDR 5 RAM and up to 256 GB UFS3.0 storage. The Pro version received a massive 7.1-inch screen with the same characteristics.
From the point of view of cameras, smartphones did not disappoint either, although this is obviously not the most important thing in these models. The triple module consists of a 64MP main sensor, complemented by a 13MP ultra-wide sensor and a 5MP depth sensor. The bottom rear panel houses the same triangular module, but without cameras - it looks like Xiaomi plans to make the design of its gaming smartphones more and more symmetrical every time.
The standard Black Shark 3 received a 4,720 mAh battery with support for 65 W fast charging, which allows you to replenish the charge from 0 to 100% in just 38 minutes. Interestingly, the charging speed of the Pro model is the same, although it has a 5000 mAh battery. Prices for new items are as follows:
Black Shark 3:
- 8 GB of RAM + 128 GB of storage - 3,499 yuan (≈33,150 rubles);
- 12 GB of RAM + 128 GB of storage - 3,799 yuan (≈35,990 rubles);
- 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage - 3,999 yuan (≈37,890 rubles).
Black Shark 3 Pro:
- 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage - 4,699 yuan (≈44,520 rubles);
- 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage - 4,999 yuan (≈47,360 rubles).
Black Shark 3 will go on sale in China on March 6, while the Pro version will have to wait until March 17.
