An interesting new project called Rocketbook Orbit has appeared on Kickstarter. Its creators pondered why the design of notepads has not changed significantly since 1888 - and decided to approach the problem using modern technology. The result is a new generation reusable notebook with the ability to choose a format convenient for you and upload data to the cloud.
The notebook consists of a stand-tablet and a block with technological paper. Each block contains 20 pages, which can be used for two different projects at the same time: thanks to the magnetic fastening, the block can be easily turned over and installed on the other side. There are a total of 8 different types of blocks available: from standard square and ruled blocks to planners, to-do lists and even musical notes. Fans Bullet Journal will delight the block to the point.
Pilot FriXion pens are used for writing on this notebook (supplied with the notebook, you can choose the color yourself). The text can be erased as many times as you like - for this, a microfiber cloth is included with the notebook, but any other will do.
Rocketbook's proprietary app allows you to scan notes and drawings and instantly convert them to electronic format. The program enhances images: straightens corners, removes paper linings and raises contrast. There you can also set up automatic synchronization with selected services, including Dropbox, Evernote, Google Docs and more.
Rocketbook Orbit was priced at $ 29 (≈1,940 rubles) for a set of a tablet, one block of the selected type, a Pilot FriXion pen and a microfiber cloth. A double set costs 56 dollars, a triple set - 83 dollars (approximately 3,750 and 5,560 rubles, respectively). They will go on sale in October, and to order is available on Kickstarter now.
