A new video has been released on the EverythingApplePro YouTube channel, which compared the speed of the top flagships of Samsung and Apple. To do this, we sequentially launched 21 popular applications on both devices and performed simple actions: wait for the game to load, export photos to the gallery, etc.
In the first run iPhone 11 Pro Max performed well and launched all applications in 3 minutes and 6 seconds. This is awesome for a smartphone with 4GB of RAM. Galaxy S20 Ultra was a little slower and ended up at 3:19.
But on the second run, the iPhone showed itself significantly worse than its rival: it took it 2:04 to reopen applications, while the Galaxy S20 Ultra did it in 1:05. The reason for this is obvious: the iPhone has less RAM, so it had to re-download some applications.
According to the test results, the Samsung flagship proved to be the clear winner. It will be interesting to see how it performs against this year's iPhones - which are expected to finally get 6GB of RAM (which is still half the competitor's).
