The new Samsung Galaxy S20 is presented in three versions

Samsung has officially unveiled three flagship smartphones of the Galaxy S20 series, which you may already have seen on the leaked web video. All rumors about these models were confirmed - they are really very similar in appearance, but differ in size, a set of cameras and a couple more important details.

Samsung Galaxy S20

This is the most compact of the three new products. It received an AMOLED display with a diagonal of 6.2 inches, a resolution of 3200 × 1440 pixels, a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a small hole at the top, where a 10 megapixel front camera is located.

An ultrasonic fingerprint scanner is located under the screen glass. But there is also an unlock function using face recognition.

The main camera of the Galaxy S20 is triple:

• 12 MP - main sensor:
• 64 MP - telephoto for 3x optical zoom and 30x digital;
• 12 MP - wide-angle module.

The smartphone supports the ability to shoot in 8K format at 30 frames per second. Videos in this resolution can be uploaded to YouTube immediately.

The proprietary Exynos 990 processor, made according to the 7nm process technology, is responsible for the performance of the smartphone. The amount of RAM, depending on the version, can be 8 or 12 GB LPDDR5. Built-in - 128 GB. Support for microSD cards is provided.

The battery has a capacity of 4000 mAh. It supports 25W wired fast and wireless charging, including reversible charging. The body of the smartphone is waterproof (IP68).

Samsung Galaxy S20 +

This model received a screen with the same resolution and frequency of 120 Hz, but the diagonal increased to 6.7 inches. At the top of the AMOLED panel, there is also a hole for a 10MP camera for selfies.

The main photo module includes the same set of sensors, supplemented by a ToF sensor. It is designed to measure depth of field, which in theory allows you to improve the quality of portraits.

In addition to an additional camera, the Galaxy S20 + features a 4,500 mAh battery and a 512 GB version of internal memory. The rest of the filling of the model is exactly the same as that of the Galaxy S20.

Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra

This is the largest smartphone in the series - it received a display with a diagonal of 6.9 inches. The hole on the top remains, but the camera is no longer 10 megapixels, but 40 megapixels. The set of photo modules at the back is also completely different:

• 108 MP - main sensor:
• 48 MP - telephoto for 10x optical zoom and 100x digital (Space Zoom);
• 12 MP - wide-angle module;
• ToF sensor.

The smartphone has a dynamic transition from an ultra-high resolution of 108 megapixels to a 12 megapixel mode by merging nine pixels into one at the level of a photosensor. This allows you to get the sharpest shots even in low light conditions.

The processor of this giant is the same, the Exynos 990, but the memory can be installed up to 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal memory. An expansion slot for microSD cards is also present.

With the increase in size, the battery capacity has also grown - it amounted to an impressive 5,000 mAh. There is support for 45W fast charging.

All three smartphones will be available in Russia from March 13. While it will be possible to buy only versions with 128 GB of internal memory. The prices are as follows:

• Samsung Galaxy S20 +: 79,990 rubles;
• Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra: 99,990 rubles.
