Some users who these days requested to export files from Google Photos through the Google Takeout service received an archive that could contain other people's videos. Likewise, their own videos could be sent to other people. The vulnerability is now closed, and the company apologizes and claims that the analysis of the failure will help prevent similar in the future.
The letter clarifies that the function is now working correctly, and users can re-request the archive to get all the files. The company also asks to remove the old export containing other people's videos.
