Back in November last year, Redmi CEO Lu Weibing revealed that the company has plans for its own smartwatch. Judging by the new leak, the branded fitness tracker will be presented first.
The Digital Chat Station insider shared information about this new product on the social network Weibo, who found the image and description of the device in the Mi Fit app. In addition, the accessory has already been spotted under Indian Standards Bureau certification with model number HMSH01GE. There it goes to the "Smart Watch" section, where all wearable devices are usually grouped.
According to this data, the tracker will be made in a black case and will receive a small display with a thick frame. Below it will be a capacitive button in the form of a thin white line. The insider also mentioned interchangeable watch faces, alarm function, heart rate sensor, NFC payment support and the ability to control music on a smartphone. All this makes the Redmi bracelet a complete analogue Mi Band 4.
The timing of the announcement of the Redmi tracker is still unknown, as well as its price. However, we can say with confidence that such a novelty should be cheaper than the Xiaomi Mi Band 4.
