Garmin replenished a line of branded smartwatches with the Tactix Delta model. It features a rugged, military-grade steel case (MIL-STD-810) to resist scratches, drops, shock and vibration.
The accessory is equipped with a round display with a diameter of 1.4 inches, sapphire crystal and a special frame with carbon coating. On the sides of the case there are several mechanical buttons with notches so that you can operate the device even with gloves.
The watch received a two-position GPS-module, which allows working with two sets of coordinates simultaneously. For geolocation, Garmin Tactix Delta is loaded with topographic maps with support for barometric altimeter and compass. A heart rate monitor and sensors for tracking physical activity are of course also present.
Built-in memory allows you to use the watch as a player by connecting wireless headphones. The data warehouse is designed for approximately 2,000 songs. There is also support for the proprietary Garmin Pay contactless payment system. The manufacturer calls the main feature of the watch a special stealth mode, which completely disables the functions of storing and transmitting information, as well as erasing all data from the device's memory in one click.
Another interesting feature of the gadget is the ability to display the remaining battery charge in hours or days, which will allow you to accurately determine if you need to recharge. In general, without recharge, the watch can work up to 21 days in standard mode and up to 80 days when battery saver is enabled.
The Garmin Tactix Delta watch has already gone on sale in the US at a price of $ 900 (≈55,500 rubles). Later, the model will appear in other markets.
