The cybersecurity company DeviceLock has named the top ten most popular Cyrillic passwords. Their list was formed after analyzing 5 billion unique pairs of logins and passwords that got into the network after massive personal data leaks. About it report "News".
Top 10 Russian-language passwords:
- "password"
- "Yutsuken"
- "I"
- "love"
- "Hi"
- "Natasha"
- "Love"
- "Maxim"
- "Andrei"
- "Sun"
As noted by experts, in comparison with last year, this list has practically not changed, only the positions of some passwords have changed. This uniformity is characteristic not only of Russia, but also for the world at large, where the top is still "123456", "qwerty", "password" and "111111".
The use of the same combinations of usernames and passwords on different sites can lead to dire consequences. Indeed, if one account is hacked, the attackers will immediately check all other services using the credentials that have already been triggered.
Google recently allows you to checkwhich of your passwords might have been hacked. You can also do this using a special bot in Telegram.
