Pumpkin-apple juice for the winter

A thick, rich, bright pumpkin-apple juice that will remind you of a warm autumn in cold winter. Try it!

Ingredients
- Pumpkin 1 kg
- Water 1-1¹⁄₂ l
- Apples 500 g
- Sugar 150 g
- Citric acid ¹⁄₂ tsp spoons
Cooking method
Cut the pumpkin into slices and place in a saucepan. Pour in 150-200 ml of water and bring to a boil.
Meanwhile, cut the peeled apples into slices. When the liquid boils, add the fruit to the pumpkin.
Reduce heat to low, cover the pan with a lid. Cook until everything is tender.
Then purée with a hand blender.
Add as much hot water as you need for the desired juice consistency.

Add sugar and citric acid and stir to dissolve the crystals.
More sugar can be added if desired.
Boil the juice for another 10 minutes, removing the foam.

Then pour into sterilized jars, roll up and turn over. Cool under a towel or blanket and store in a cool, dark place.
