Thai-style fried chicken turns out to be moderately spicy and with a piquant taste, since several different sauces are used in cooking.
Cut the chicken into small pieces. Onions - in quarters of rings, peeled from chili seeds - in halves. Chop the garlic.
Chili pods should be as long as a finger.
Combine soy and fish sauces with water and sugar.
In a skillet or wok, heat the oil over high heat. Add onions, garlic and chili, and in just a minute add cashews and chicken.
Fry for a few minutes and stir constantly. When all the chicken pieces are light and no raw meat is visible, add the sauce.
Cook for another 4-5 minutes without stopping stirring. Then place on a plate and sprinkle with coarsely chopped green onions.
