Thai rice with mango and coconut milk

Thai rice with mango is an incredibly tasty dessert with the addition of coconut milk. Preparing a dish is not difficult at all. The main thing is to choose the right rice.

Ingredients
- Glutinous rice 200 g
- Mango 2-3 pieces
- Coconut milk 250 ml
- Sugar 55 g
- Salt ¹⁄₂ tsp spoons
Cooking method
Cover the rice with water and leave for 8 hours or overnight.

Cover the bowl of a double boiler with cheesecloth and put the rice on top. Steam for 20-25 minutes.
Rice is traditionally steamed, but you can also cook it in the usual way.
How to cook rice: basic rules and secrets
Cut the mango into small pieces and refrigerate while the rice is cooking.
Combine coconut milk with sugar and salt. Put on low heat and cook, stirring constantly, until the crystals dissolve.
Transfer the cooked rice to a bowl and slowly pour the coconut milk into it while stirring. Stop when the dish looks like a thick porridge.
Leave about 50-60 ml of milk for dispensing.
Wait for the rice to cool to room temperature. Then put it on a plate along with the chilled mango and pour over the rest of the milk.
