Chicken baked with figs and onions

Baked chicken has a delicious flavor. All thanks to onions, figs and honey sauce, balsamic vinegar and mustard.

Ingredients
- Olive oil 1 tbsp the spoon
- Chicken thighs on the bone with skin 6 pieces
- Salt to taste
- Ground black pepper to taste
- Shallots 3 pieces
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Purple bow 2 pieces
- Thyme 2-3 twigs
- Balsamic vinegar 2 tbsp spoons
- Dijon mustard ¹⁄₂ tbsp spoons
- Honey 1 tbsp the spoon
- Chicken broth 250 ml
- Figs 5-7 pieces
- Spinach or kale 1 bunch
Cooking method
Heat oil in an ovenproof pan. Rub the chicken thighs with salt and pepper.
Cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, until lightly browned. Transfer to a plate.
In the same skillet, fry the chopped shallots and garlic for 4 minutes.
Add purple onions, cut into thin strips, and thyme leaves. Cook for 3 minutes.
Whisk the vinegar, mustard and honey. Pour the sauce and broth over the vegetables.
Bring to a boil and simmer for 4 minutes. Add chopped herbs if desired.
Return the chicken thighs to the skillet. Place large pieces of figs between them.

Pour the sauce over the meat from the same skillet. Bake at 180 ° C for 35-40 minutes until chicken is tender.
