Sponge cake with berries and sour cream - Lifehacker

Such a sponge cake is perfect for both regular tea drinking and a festive table. Dessert is prepared quickly, and products for it can be found in any kitchen.

Ingredients
- Eggs 4 pieces
- Salt 1 pinch
- Sugar 200 g
- Vanilla sugar or vanillin to taste
- Flour 150 g
- Baking powder 1 tsp the spoon
- Butter or margarine 1 piece
- Sour cream 15% fat 300 g
- Sugar to taste
- Any berries to taste
- Powdered sugar to taste

Carefully separate the whites from the yolks. Whisk the whites with a pinch of salt and most of the sugar until a firm foam.
In order for the whites to whisk well, they must be chilled and free of yolk.
Whisk the yolks and remaining sugar separately with the vanilla sugar or vanilla.
Stir the yolks well with sugar until the mass lightens and the crystals are completely dissolved. Otherwise, the biscuit will have a sugar crust.

Pour the protein mixture into the yolks and mix gently with a whisk or spatula. Put a sieve directly on the container with eggs and pass the flour mixed with baking powder through it.
For the biscuit to be successful, the flour must be sifted.
Knead the dough, at this time turn on the oven. Pour it into a mold greased with butter or margarine. When the oven warms up to 180 degrees, place the dish in it.

In a conventional gas oven, set the timer for 50-60 minutes. In an electric oven with heating elements both from the bottom and from the top, cook the biscuit for 30-40 minutes.
Important: during baking, do not open the oven so that the biscuit does not "fall". If time is running out, do not open it immediately after turning it off - wait about 20 minutes.
Put most of the sour cream in any container, add sugar and stir.
Cut the biscuit horizontally into two parts. If you have juice from berries, pour it over the bottom cake. Then spread it with sour cream, lay out the berries, cover with a top layer of biscuit.
Decorate the cake with powdered sugar and berries.
