Marinated squash with mustard - Lifehacker

Such marinated squash are crispy, aromatic and very tasty, and they are prepared quite simply.

Ingredients
- Patissons 350-400 g
- Dill 1 umbrella
- Bay leaf 1 piece
- Garlic 1-2 cloves
- Allspice 4-5 peas
- Mustard seeds 2 tsp spoons
- Water 500 ml
- Sugar 30 g
- Salt 30 g
- Vinegar 9% 30 ml
Cooking method
Remove the stalks from the squash, then rinse the vegetables and dry.
Cut large squash into halves or quarters, leave small ones whole.

Put dill, lavrushka, garlic, peppercorns and mustard in a sterilized jar, tamp the squash tightly on top.

Pour boiling water into the jar, cover with a lid and leave for 15 minutes.
Drain water into a saucepan, boil again, pour into a jar and leave for another 15 minutes.
Pour the water back into the pot, mix with the sugar and salt, and bring to a boil.
Pour vinegar into the jar first, and then boiling brine. Cover with lid.
Cover the squash with a towel. After cooling completely, keep cool.
