The dough is easy to prepare, based on butter and eggs. Cinnamon makes the plum pie very aromatic, and the berries add a pleasant sourness.
With a mixer, beat the softened butter with 150 g of sugar into a fluffy mass.
Combine flour and baking powder and sift. Pour into the butter and stir.
Add eggs and salt and beat again.
Grease a 26 cm mold with oil. Put the dough in there and flatten.
Cut the plums in half and remove the seeds. Place them on the dough, slices up, pressing lightly.
Combine the remaining sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over the top of the pie.
Bake at 180 ° C for 40-50 minutes.
Check the readiness with a toothpick: it should come out of the dough clean.
