Hot syrup milkshakes are served in many restaurants, coffee shops and pastry shops. Try to cook one of the options yourself.
Combine the syrup ingredients in a saucepan, simmer for a minute, then strain.
You can substitute lavender syrup with anything you like. If you don't want to waste time cooking it, supermarkets have ready-made options.
Pour milk into a separate saucepan and heat slowly (but don't boil!). When hot, remove from heat.
Pour milk into a shaker and add syrup. Whisk and then gently fill a glass with the resulting cocktail so that the foam does not fall.
If you don't have a shaker, you can use a mixer or pour the ingredients into a jar and shake vigorously. The foam should be dense and contain small bubbles.
