A simple yet sophisticated dish. The fish stew turns out to be very aromatic and tender thanks to the spicy tomato sauce.
Heat oil in a skillet. Sauté chopped garlic, cumin and paprika for 1 minute.
At this point, you can add chili powder.
Pour in water, add tomatoes and bring to a boil.
For a richer aroma, add wine or broth.
Seed peppers and cut into slices or cubes.
Reduce heat, put pepper in pan and simmer for 5 minutes.
Cut the fish into slices, add to the pepper and cook for another 5 minutes. Salt.
Taste the dish and add more spices if you want to spice it up.
Pour the prepared fish stew with lemon juice and sprinkle with chopped cilantro.
