Puree soup with green beans, bacon and cheese

Potatoes and cheese give the dish a delicate texture, while fried onions and bacon give a pleasant flavor. This green bean soup is thick and tasty.

- Fresh or frozen green beans 400 g
- Potatoes 1-2 pieces
- Onion 1 piece
- Chicken broth 2 cups
- Bacon 1-2 strips
- Cheddar or other hard cheese 30 g
- Salt to taste
- Ground black pepper to taste
- Croutons to taste
Cut fresh beans into pieces. Chop the peeled potatoes and onions.
Pour the chicken stock into a saucepan and add the green beans.
Simmer over low heat for about 20 minutes.
Set the potatoes to boil separately for about the same time.
Meanwhile, in a skillet, fry the bacon on both sides until golden brown.
Transfer the bacon to a plate and add the onions to the skillet.
Cook for 5-10 minutes, until the onions are tender.
Use a blender to whisk the green beans, broth, potatoes, onion and bacon.
All liquid must be drained from boiled potatoes.
Place the pot of soup on the stove, add grated cheese, salt and pepper.
Cook, stirring occasionally, until the cheese is melted.
Serve the croutons soup.
