Pilaf with pork and barberry

Pork pilaf is another classic dish. It is not at all difficult to prepare it, and you will surely like the new combination of flavors.

Ingredients
- Pork 300 g
- Onion 1 piece
- Carrots 1 piece
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Vegetable oil 2 tbsp. spoons
- Barberry 2 tsp spoons
- Coriander 1 tsp the spoon
- Salt ¹⁄₂ tsp spoons
- Ground pepper to taste
- Rice 200 g
Cooking method
Cut pork and onions into small pieces, carrots into strips or grate on a coarse grater. Chop the garlic.
In a large skillet or cast iron cauldron, heat oil and brown the meat until golden brown, about 10 minutes.
Add onion and carrots to the pork, after a minute - peeled garlic, barberry, coriander, salt and pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally.
After 5 minutes, place the washed rice over the meat.
Fill with water so that its level is a couple of centimeters above the level of the cereal.
Cover and cook over low heat for about 30 minutes, do not stir.
If after half an hour the rice remains tough and the water evaporates, add liquid and leave it on the fire for a while.
