Grechaniks with minced meat in tomato sauce

Grechaniki are Ukrainian cutlets made from cereals with meat, which are stewed in tomato sauce with vegetables. The dish according to this recipe turns out to be very tender and tasty.

Ingredients
- Buckwheat 170 g
- Salt to taste
- Minced meat 500 g
- Onion 1 piece
- Eggs 2 pieces
- Pepper to taste
- Flour 4-5 tbsp. spoons
- Vegetable oil 1-2 tbsp. spoons
- Carrots 1 piece
- Onions 1-2 pieces
- Vegetable oil 2 tbsp. spoons
- Ketchup 2-3 tbsp. spoons
- Sugar 1 tbsp. the spoon
- Water 400-600 ml
Cooking method

Boil buckwheat in salted water. While it's cooking, combine the minced meat with finely chopped onions, eggs, salt and pepper.

Cool the buckwheat, mix with the minced meat and form the buckwheat. Roll each in flour.
Fry the Greek people in a pan with butter until golden brown.
For the sauce, grate the carrots and chop the onions. Fry in oil until soft.
Add ketchup, salt, sugar and pepper to the vegetables. Cover with water and cook for 5 minutes.
Pour the sauce over the Greek people. Simmer over low heat for 35-40 minutes.
