Burrito with chicken, beans and tomatoes

Many housewives love this hearty Mexican dish. Making a chicken burrito is easy - and you can use leftovers from yesterday's dinner for the filling.

Ingredients
- Medium onion 1 piece
- Vegetable oil 1 tbsp. the spoon
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Ground cumin 1 tbsp the spoon
- Red chili 1 tbsp the spoon
- Tomatoes 450 g
- Lime or lemon juice 2 tbsp spoons
- Fried or baked chicken 450 g
- Beans 450 g
- Tortillas 6 pieces
- Semi-hard cheese 100 g
- Fresh cabbage 100 g
Cooking method
Finely chop the onion and fry in a skillet in vegetable oil until tender.
Pass the garlic through a press and add to the onion along with the caraway seeds and pepper.
Cut the tomatoes and put them in the pan with the citrus juice, bring to a boil. Then reduce the gas and simmer for 15-20 minutes over low heat.
Cut the chicken to fillet and cut into strips.

Boil the beans and add them to the pan to the tomatoes along with the chicken. Simmer for another 5 minutes.

Then spread the resulting filling over the tortillas, sprinkle with grated cheese, chopped cabbage and wrap the burrito.
Instead of tortilla, you can use thin pita bread.
