Qataf is Arabian yeast pancakes with sweet filling. This dessert can be stuffed with whipped cream, curd, fruits, berries and nuts.
Soak yeast and sugar in warm water for 3-5 minutes, then mix well.
Add milk, flour and baking powder and mix thoroughly again.
Cover with a towel and leave in a warm place for half an hour.
Preheat the non-stick skillet well. Bake small plump pancakes on one side only, until golden brown.
Fold each finished pancake in half with the unfried side inward and seal along the edge to the middle.
Fill the pancakes with any sweet filling and place on a serving platter.
