Very quick vanilla sponge cake in a mug

A simple and delicious vanilla sponge cake can be made in no time in the microwave. The dessert is in no way inferior to the classic version from the oven.

Ingredients

• Butter 30 g
• Egg 1 piece
• Milk 30 ml
• Vanillin 1 pinch
• Flour 30 g
• Sugar 45 g
• Baking powder 1 pinch
• Berries to taste
• Nuts to taste
• Candied fruits to taste

Cooking method

• Melt the butter in the mug for 20 seconds.

  

• Beat the egg to the butter, pour in the milk, add vanillin.

• Separately mix flour, sugar and baking powder and add dry ingredients to liquid.

• Whisk the contents of the mug, making sure that no lumps remain in the mixture. Add berries, nuts, or any other additions. Pour the dough into two circles so that they are half full.

  

• Cook the sponge cake at maximum power for 1 minute 40 seconds. Check readiness with a toothpick.
