Cod cutlets with cheese, potatoes and herbs

Mashed potatoes make cod cutlets more satisfying and tender. Chives and parsley add freshness to them, while Worcestershire sauce and mustard add a special flavor.

Ingredients
- Potatoes 400 g
- Salt to taste
- 3 tbsp butter spoons
- Cod fillet 450 g
- Ground black pepper to taste
- Worcester sauce 1 tsp the spoon
- Mustard 1 tbsp the spoon
- Egg 1 piece
- Green onions 3 stalks
- Parsley ¹⁄₂ bunch
- Hard cheese 150 g
- Breadcrumbs 2 cups
- Vegetable oil 1½ tbsp. spoons
Cooking method

Peel the potatoes and boil until tender. Then add salt, puree and cool.
How and how much to cook potatoes
Melt half the butter in a skillet.

Cut the cod fillet into large pieces, salt, pepper and fry on both sides for 8 minutes.
Turn the fish from time to time: it should not be too fried, only slightly golden.
While fillet is cooking, combine mashed potatoes, Worcester sauce, mustard, egg, chopped greens, grated cheese, and pepper in a bowl.
Chill the finished fish for a few minutes, mash with a fork and mix with the rest of the ingredients.
Form into medium-sized patties and roll in breadcrumbs.
Heat the remaining butter and oil in a skillet. Fry the cutlets on both sides until golden brown.
Then reduce heat and cook for about 2 more minutes on each side.
