Ingredients
- Potato tubers several pieces
- Olive oil 2-3 tbsp. spoons
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Cooking method
Rinse the potatoes thoroughly under running water and pat dry. It is not necessary to remove the eyes. If there are any dark spots or stains on the potatoes, cut them off.
Then pierce each tuber with a fork four to five times on each side. If you ignore this little trick, the potato skins will crack and not look very pretty.
Brush the tubers with a little olive oil, then season with salt and pepper.
-
Place them on a microwave plate or baking dish and microwave for 3-4 minutes at full power.
Cooking time depends on the size of the tubers. Large potatoes will take a little longer to bake. Try to select tubers of the same size - then everything will bake evenly.
Use a fork or tongs to gently turn the potatoes over. If you bake one tuber, then put it in the microwave for another 3 minutes. If there are two or more, bake them on the other side for another 5 minutes.
-
Check the potatoes for readiness with a knife or fork: if the tuber is ready, it is easy to pierce it in the center. Microwave for another minute if necessary.
If you want crispy crust, place the potatoes in the preheated 220 ° C oven and bake. Remember to check the dish every few minutes until the crust is dry.
Allow the potatoes to cool slightly before serving. It can be cooled completely, placed in the refrigerator (maximum four days), and then simply reheated in the microwave or oven.
