Ingredients
- Flour 3 cups
- Salt 2 tsp spoons
- Sugar 2 tsp spoons
- Olive oil 4 tbsp spoons
- Water 1 cup
- Sesame seeds 1 tbsp the spoon
- Fennel seeds 1 tbsp the spoon
- Poppy 1 tbsp. the spoon
- Sea salt 1 tsp the spoon
Cooking method
Preheat oven to 230 degrees. Line a baking sheet with baking paper. Combine flour, salt and sugar in a bowl until smooth.
Then add oil and water and knead the dough. If dry flour remains on the sides and bottom of the bowl, mix it into the dough, adding 1 teaspoon of water.
-
Divide the dough in two. Sprinkle flour on a board or table and shape the dough into a rectangle with your hands. Roll it out to a thickness of about 3 millimeters.
If the dough starts to tear, cover it with a towel and let it sit for about five minutes, then start rolling again to the thickness you want.
Brush the top of the dough with water, mix the seeds and sea salt in a bowl and sprinkle them over the surface of the rectangle.
Divide it with a knife or pizza wheel into small squares and transfer them to a baking sheet using a wide knife or spatula.
-
Let the crackers bake for 12-15 minutes. Cookies can be stored in a sealed container without access to sunlight for two to three days.
The crackers will dry unevenly in the oven, so it is important to look after them and remove the already baked ones in time.
