How much to cook horns
This will take about 7-10 minutes. But before cooking, it is better to read the instructions on the packaging and focus on it. The main thing is to make sure that the horns do not creep apart.
Al dente pasta (slightly undercooked) cooks a couple of minutes less. Sometimes the time for al dente is immediately indicated on the packs.
How to cook horns in a saucepan
Pour water into a large saucepan. For 100 g of pasta, usually 1 liter of water is taken, but you can take less. The horns should float freely.
Salt the liquid. 1 heaped teaspoon is enough, but it's better to trust your preferences. Other spices can be added along with the salt for aroma.
Boil water over high heat. Add pasta. If not placed in boiling water, they can stick together. Stir immediately.
Reduce heat so that the liquid boils a little. Cook the horns, stirring occasionally.
Then fold them in a colander so that the glass is water. No need to rinse.
If you are worried about the horns sticking together, add some vegetable oil to boiling water. Alternatively, put the finished pasta back into the saucepan, add oil or butter and stir.
How to cook horns in a slow cooker
Fill the multicooker bowl with water. For 100 g of pasta, 500 ml is enough. Add salt.
Boil the liquid in the Paste mode. When this happens, the device will beep. Soup, Porridge and Multipovar modes are also suitable.
Drop the horns. You can pour in a little vegetable oil. Cook, stirring occasionally. If necessary, flip the pasta in a colander to drain excess water.
How to cook horns in the microwave
Place the cones in a deep microwave safe container. Cover with boiling water. The proportion of pasta and liquid is 1: 2. The water should be about 1 cm higher than them.
Add salt and, if desired, some vegetable oil.
Cook pasta at 800 watts, stirring every 2-3 minutes. Leave the prepared horns in the microwave for 4-5 minutes. Then, if necessary, fold in a colander.
