Usually noodles are cooked for 3-5 minutes. But it is better to focus on the time indicated on the package. Make sure that the pasta does not boil and taste it.
How to cook noodles in a saucepan
Place the vermicelli in boiling salted water. Take salt to taste. As a last resort, you can add it to an already prepared dish. Add other spices if desired.
If boiling it for a side dish, add enough liquid to float freely. For 50 g of pasta, an average of 500 ml of water is needed. When making soup, remember that the vermicelli grows quite a bit, so don't add too much.
To prevent the vermicelli from sticking together, you can pour a little vegetable oil into the pan. When cooking soup you do not need to do this.
Method 1
Cook pasta, stirring occasionally, over moderate heat. The liquid should boil slightly. If you are making a side dish, discard the finished noodles on a sieve so that the excess water glass.
Method 2
After tossing the vermicelli in boiling water, stir and remove the pan from heat. If you're making soup, add pasta to the finished dish. Cover and leave to cook. Although this method may require a little more. Stir the vermicelli a couple of times in the process. Then fold it over a sieve if you are preparing a side dish.
