Place the rice in a multicooker bowl. Cover with cold milk and / or water. If you are using butter, you can add it directly to the multicooker.
Choose the "Milk porridge" mode. With this option, the multicooker, as a rule, determines the readiness of the dish itself. On average, the process takes about 40 minutes. If you do not have such a mode, press "Stew" and cook for 25-30 minutes.
If the finished rice porridge seems thin, leave it in the "Warm" mode for another 15 minutes.

Place the groats in a deep dish suitable for microwave oven. Pour in the liquid and place in the microwave oven.
Cook for 20-25 minutes at 700 watts. During this time, stir the porridge several times. Cover the container with a lid about halfway through the process.
Leave the finished dish in a closed microwave for 5-10 minutes.
How to cook rice porridge in milk or water in the oven
In the oven, porridge is usually made with milk or a mixture of milk and water. Then it turns out to be especially tasty and aromatic.
Fill an oven-safe container about ¹⁄ full of rice. For example, clay pots are great. Pour in liquid. It should not reach the sides by about 1 centimeter or a little more. The oil can be put directly.
Place in the oven. If cooking in pots, place in a cold oven, set to 120 ° C and cook for 15 minutes. Then increase the temperature to 180 ° C and cook for 1 hour or more. If the dishes are not earthenware, you can immediately place them in an oven preheated to 180 ° C.
The finished porridge will be covered with an appetizing golden brown crust. It is edible, but not everyone likes it. If the porridge seems too thick to you, dilute it with hot liquid. And the liquid version can be left for a while in a closed oven turned off.
