Sberbank launches contactless payment SberPay

Sberbank launched the SberPay payment system, which allows you to conduct and accept payments for goods and services in a contactless way through the Sberbank Online application. About it writes Interfax.

With SberPay, you can pay for purchases in online stores and offline points where the Sberbank payment terminal is installed. The contactless payment function so far only works on Android smartphones with NFC for Visa cards. To activate SberPay, you need to update the Sberbank Online mobile application and connect the system. This is done in three steps:

• on the main screen of the application, select the Visa card that you want to use for payment;
• in the window that opens, click "Connect SberPay";
• confirm the action in the next window and wait for the connection.

For individuals, the use of SberPay is free.

In addition to the ability to connect SberPay, the updated "Sberbank Online" offers several other changes: dark interface theme, more convenient card screens and the ability to calculate credit potential.
