How to cancel sending a letter to Mail.ru

As explained in the official Mail.ru reference, immediately after sending, a copy of the letter goes to the recipient's server. Therefore, it is impossible to withdraw such a message. To avoid problems, the company recommends using delayed dispatch.

So, you can set a convenient time - and at the specified moment the system will automatically deliver the letter to the recipient. And if you change your mind, then you will have the opportunity to cancel the shipment before the selected time.

How to schedule sending a letter to Mail.ru

Click on the clock icon. In mobile mail applications, it is displayed next to the "Subject" field on the message screen, and in the web version of Mail.ru - in the lower right corner of the message window.

Select the appropriate date and time, then click on the submit button.

How to cancel sending a scheduled email to Mail.ru

Go to the Outbox folder. All pending emails that have not yet been sent are displayed here.

Open the message you want to cancel sending.

If you signed in via the iOS application, click on the cross next to the time in the "Send" field. If you have Android, click on the trash can icon in the upper right corner and confirm the deletion. If you are working at a computer, use the icon in the form hours.

Then you can find letter in drafts or, in the case of Android, in the trash can. The service will not send it unless you reschedule the message.
