Ingredients
- Ciabatta 1 piece
- 3 tbsp butter spoons
- Garlic 2-3 cloves
- Dried Italian herbs 1 tsp the spoon
- Grated cheese or cheese mixture 2 cups
Cooking method
-
Divide the loaf in half. To make the bread more saturated with butter and separate into segments without any problems, cut it across without cutting it all the way.
The bread should be as fresh as possible. Then it will remain soft on the inside and crispy on the outside.
-
Melt 3 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add chopped garlic and fresh herbs.
Be careful not to burn the pieces of garlic, otherwise the oil may taste bitter. As soon as a pleasant aroma appears, remove the oil from the heat.
-
Spread the butter over the entire surface of the bread cuts.
-
Sprinkle the bread with cheese and send it to the top tier to bake in an oven preheated to 220 degrees.
Watch the cooking process so that the cheese and bread do not burn, but only acquire a pleasant golden hue.
-
Serve the garlic cheese croutons immediately after cooking with the tomato sauce or just like that.
