Another interesting thread has appeared on Twitter. User @ HelloSidney96 asked readers tell about situations when she almost died, but miraculously survived. The comments have collected hundreds of scary stories whose authors are incredibly lucky - here are just a few of them.

- several times I was almost hit by a car, but my friends managed to pull me off the road
- I fell from a meter height right next to the protruding reinforcement
- nearly drowned three times during a storm
- I almost lost my eye, crashing into a protruding wire, as a result, I have a scar 1mm from my eye

I swam near the shore without being able to swim. Somehow I happened to be below the water level. I didn't panic and just went under water towards the coast. For some reason, the shore did not advance. Then some guy grabbed me and pulled me out. It turned out that I was walking in the opposite direction from the coast.

2) this is not about death, but at night a heating pipe with boiling water burst in my apartment and the stream was gaining pressure towards my bed. I woke up half a minute before she reached the place where my face was.

I remember that a bunch of high school students deliberately untied the hammock from the side where I was lying, and because of this, I fell down and hit my head on the stump that was below. As I was told later, I was lying around for more than 5 minutes. I myself saw only white light, in which I could not move.

When I was five, I was eating potatoes with my grandparents. I found an ampoule on the ground and tried to open it. It didn’t work. As a result, I thought of biting off the neck of the ampoule with my teeth :) it was poison from the Colorado beetles :) they barely pumped me out :) 4 months in hospitals :)

There are many stories associated with bicycles.

Once I was riding a bike, and right in front of the roadway, my brakes failed. A car was walking towards me, which did not think to stop, and it would hardly have made it. In general, I hit the pedals, and somehow miraculously slipped right in front of the hood

-I was driving along a very steep slope on a bike, the speed was insane, and there was a dead end ahead. I reached a dead end, slowed down to a minimum, and then my brakes fail and the chain flies. if it happened 2 minutes earlier, then that's it. It's scary even to think.
