Your own bartender: 5 cocktails for a home party

1. Ginger highball
Ingredients
- 40 ml of whiskey;
- 120 ml ginger ale;
- ¼ lime or lemon wedge.
Preparation
Take a tall glass (highball) or your favorite mug, fill with ice. Pour in whiskey, add ginger ale and garnish with a citrus wedge. Drink while enjoying!
2. Pomegranate negroni
Ingredients
- 30 ml gin;
- 30 ml red vermouth;
- 100 ml pomegranate tonic;
- orange - 1 slice, optional.
Preparation
Even if you do not have bartending equipment at home, this is not a reason to cancel the party. Take a rock glass, fill with ice. Add gin, red vermouth, and then pomegranate tonic. Toss all ingredients with ice to cocktail cooled down. Garnish with a slice of orange for serving.
3. Porto Ronco
Ingredients
- 40 ml of aged rum;
- 40 ml red port;
- orange peel to taste.
Preparation
Fill a glass or mug with ice. Add rum and red port. Stir gently to cool the drink and garnish with orange zest.
4. Dirty martini
Ingredients
- 40 ml of vodka;
- 35 ml dry vermouth;
- 5 ml of liquid from canned olives;
- olives - for serving.
Preparation
Fill a mixing glass with ice (you can use a large mug or jar). Pour vodka, dry vermouth and liquid from canned olives. It can be replaced with brine from any pickles found in the refrigerator. Stir the ingredients with a spoon to cool the cocktail. Pour gently into a serving glass and garnish with olives.
5. White Russian
Ingredients
- 30 ml of vodka;
- 30 ml cream;
- 30 ml of coffee liqueur;
- grated chocolate - optional.
Preparation
Take a rock glass, fill with ice. Add vodka, cream and coffee liqueur. If necessary, you can replace it with coffee syrup: brew ground coffee (to make 200 ml of the drink), evaporate the volume in half and add 50 g of sugar. Mix the cocktail ingredients thoroughly with ice. Garnish with grated chocolate before serving.
