"John Wick" director Chad Stahelski spoke with Fandom about the new series "Continental". As the name suggests, the action will be centered around the hotel of the same name for representatives of the criminal world from around the world, the main rule of which is no murders on the territory.

Stahelski said that the series will give us a new perspective on the universe, familiar from the films. The main character will be another character, which will significantly affect the final result. If the previous parts of "John Wick" covered a very short period of the life of one person who found himself in a rare scrape and everything revolved around him, then in the series, time will move differently (probably read as "less rapid"), and the focus will be on the world as a whole - and not just on its criminal component.
The director noted that Continental will tell us more about the characters that have previously appeared in the films. And he hinted at participation
Keanu Reeves in the project: “And I repeat: it will not be shown from Wick's point of view. I'm not saying Wick won't be there, but the point of view will be different. "It is too early to talk about the release date of the series. But it will definitely not be released earlier than "John Wick 4" - which was scheduled to premiere on May 21, 2021, but postponed to an indefinite date.
