1. How to download videos using TikTok itself

Most of the videos can be downloaded using the official mobile applications of the social network. But in this case, watermarks with the author's nickname and the TikTok logo will inevitably appear on the video.

To download the video, click "Share" (arrow icon) and select "Save Video". It will appear in the device gallery.

If the download button is not available, then author prohibited downloading. Then you won't be able to save the video in this way, use one of the options listed below.

2. How to download TikTok videos using dedicated sites

Downloader sites make it easy to download any TikTok video to smartphones, tablets and computers. And without watermarks.

First, copy the link to the video you want to download. Then open any of the sites listed below in browser and insert the URL of the page of the content of interest.

Use the download button and wait for the video to be saved to your device. If the site provides multiple download options, choose No Watermark to get a video without logos.

If the video is not transferred to your computer, but simply opens in a new browser tab, hold your finger on it and select “Save” from the context menu. Or, if you have iOS, return to the download page, click the download button and select "Download file from link".

On iPhone and iPad, you can download videos only in the Safari browser and provided that the device is running iOS 13 (or later) or iPadOS. If your gadget has an old version of iOS, use the Documents application from the next paragraph of the Lifehacker article.

3. How to download TikTok videos using third-party Android and iOS apps

Instagram

Funnily enough, you can download TikTok videos via the Instagram mobile app. And even those that cannot be downloaded through the official program. But the video will have watermarks anyway.

To save a video, open it in TikTok, click Share and select Instagram Stories. The loading bar will appear on the screen, then the Instagram Stories menu will be displayed. But you don't need to publish anything. Just close Instagram and go to the device gallery - the video will already be there.

SnapTik

This Android app allows you to quickly download any TikTok video without watermarks. The program is free, but it shows ads that can be turned off for 99 rubles per month.

To download, copy the video link on TikTok and open SnapTik. Then click Download → Without Watermark and wait while the video is downloaded to your device. The video can then be viewed directly in SnapTik or in your gadget's gallery.

With this free file manager you can download any TikTok videos to iPhone and iPad without watermarks.

First copy the video link. Then launch Documents and click on the blue button in the lower right corner to open the built-in browser. Go to TTSaver or any other site listed in the second paragraph of this article and paste the copied address.

Use the download button and wait for the video to be saved to your device. If the site provides multiple download options, choose No Watermark to get a video without logos.

The video will appear in the Downloads folder inside Documents. From here it can be saved to the gallery: click on the three dots next to the file and select "Move" → "Photo".
