In 1981, Alexander Tatarsky released his first cartoon. It consisted of three short musical stories. But the last part, made in the form of plasticine animation, became the most famous. The music for this cartoon was written by Grigory Gladkov (not to be confused with Gennady Gladkov, the composer of The Bremen Town Musicians and The Blue Puppy) on the verses of Eduard Uspensky.

Still, the funniest thing is the half-hour episode "The Wrong Pants", which contains literally everything for which this franchise is loved: Wallace's inventions, intricate plot and an incredible concentration of funny moments.
