Facebook announced new service for communication Messenger Rooms. It is designed for video conferencing, which has become especially popular in isolation and quarantine environments.
In Messenger Rooms, you can video chat with up to 50 people. To connect, it will be enough just to follow the link of the creator of the conference, and a social network account is not required for this. You can communicate without time limits, which gives a clear advantage over the same Zoom.
It will be possible to create conferences both via Facebook and Messenger. In the latter case, in real time, users will be able to apply "masks" and use various effects. You can keep your room open for connection at least all day, waiting for someone to join and keep you company.
Messenger Rooms will appear in select countries this week, and later the service will be available worldwide. Facebook also promises to add the ability to create video chat rooms on Instagram and WhatsApp.
