Apple has once again showcased the capabilities of its flagships in a new video of the Shot with iPhone series. This time before us is not a short clip, but a 5-hour film about the Russian Hermitage Museum, which was shot in one shot without gluing. You can already watch it on YouTube.
The film allows you to look at 45 rooms of the museum and 588 works of art. For the soundtrack, compositions by Anton Schwartz, MUJUICE, Katushiro Oguri, Gabriel Prokofiev and Kirill Richter were used.
Used for filming three iPhone 11 Pro: the main one, on which the shooting took place, the spare and another one, which was directed by Aksinya Gog (“How to get married. Instruction ") used for preview. The recording started with 100% charge for all three devices. By the end of shooting, the main smartphone, which did not stop recording in 4K for almost 5 and a half hours, had 19% left.
Additional equipment included trolleys, a small crane, and a Ronin-SC mobile stabilizer. An application has been developed specifically for filming that allows you to control the iPhone camera via Apple Watch. The video was color graded, but not edited: the entire film is one take.
