Where I'm looking for inspiration

I can not say whether there is any such term as inspiration. However, I have a few ways to help come up with something new. I hope they help you too.

Search for inspiration - a very interesting thing. On the one hand, many say that they can not engage in creative works, as long as it does not come to the muse; others say that inspiration is overrated and you just need to sit down (to get, to go to bed) and do. I'm more inclined to the second option.

Yet there are ways that allow me to reach the point where I get and I want to do something new. I do not know if you can call it inspiration, perhaps, yes. And if yes, here they are.

Music

I love how to listen and write music. Sometimes, after a particularly productive hours with a guitar in hand, I understand that just gushes ideas. The main thing that was close to a notebook or a computer to record it all, because I still remember very quickly. Tell me that I'm not the only one!

Job

Already long ago, I set a goal to sit down and write every day. Even if you do not want, even if there is no inspiration. And what is interesting: even if I have no inspiration and I sit down to write, over time, the idea still appear. Therefore, even if you do not feel the strength and desire to do something, sit down and do it. "Inspiration" will come.

Sleep

Surprisingly, as soon as I go to bed, immediately wakes up the ideological monster in me. Very often in the night I open the phone and to write what comes to mind. Almost always, this is complete nonsense, but sometimes there are also some worthwhile ideas. Therefore, do not disdain any idea, and always have on hand a notebook or mobile phone to record.

Steal like an artist! In this phrase a lot of truth. Whatever we do: writing music, poetry, creating new things (hello, Apple) - all of this is based on what has already been created. Simply put, we steal other people's ideas and remake them in their own way. Therefore, there is nothing wrong to seek inspiration in the work of others.

Conversations with people

Very often in conversation with relatives or friends there are new ideas that are unlikely to come to you in any other situation. Each of us thinks differently, you can use this for your own benefit! Look for communication, and the result will surprise you. Maybe he would not be surprised. You will not know until you try.

That's how I'm looking for "inspiration". I continue to write this word in quotation marks, because they do not believe that the state, which it describes exists. However, how do you find inspiration and what you do for this?
