Affinity for Mac - a very cool alternative to Photoshop

Affinity - a graphical editor for the Mac. Compared with Photoshop it comes out a winner on several parameters: speed, smoothness and easy interface. Affinity can not be called a complete replacement of Photoshop, but to supplement this editor is perfectly suitable.
Affinity to review not just for one reason: it is an application for designers and only for them. And as to the design, I have nothing to do, maybe I will do not focus on those things.
And the first, on what I can not wait to do the accent - is Affinity speed. After a long time of use Photoshop, I did not even care that it works to put it mildly, slowly. Since there is practically no analogues to it, had to put up with it.
But from the first minutes of work with Affinity want without stopping to say, "Wow!". The application runs very quickly and smoothly. The interface looks similar with Photoshop, so get used to something does not have to. And even the layout is the same: layers on the right, the toolbar - the left and the top.
Developers are constantly put emphasis on the smoothness and speed. Even zooming takes place without any jerks or brakes. By the way, can be zoomed to 1 million%. Do not ask why.
Interestingly, the Affinity is positioned not as a Photoshop alternative, but as a complement. The app recognizes the excellent PSD, Ai and PDF.
The app costs £ 39.99, one-time payment. There is a trial version that allows you to use the application to complete, but only for 10 days. Affinity looks like a breath of fresh air among Photoshop, GIMP and other advanced graphics editors.
It is interesting to hear the opinion of the designers. Whether your application deserves attention?
