Franz - the most spacious messenger to chat rooms and social networks
Macos / / December 26, 2019
Ordeal was over. You no longer need to keep a bunch of messengers to communicate with different people. Skype, Telegram, Facebook, Slack, and much more easily can fit in a single application. If this application is Franz.
Everyone knows what a pain - messing around with a dozen different messengers for communication with colleagues and clients actually using only one of them. New services, and chat with each passing day it becomes more and more, and people are not getting smarter and are usually the most exotic, dooming you to suffering.
Franz can put an end to this in one fell swoop. The app allows you to keep in the same chat window, the eight most popular services, including Telegram and Slack. Just imagine, all your messages are flocking to a messenger and gently scatter on a separate tab. Full list of supported services is as follows:
- Slack,
- HipChat,
- Facebook Messenger,
- Telegram,
- WhatsApp,
- Google Hangouts,
- skype,
- Grape.
All added services are in the form of a tape with tabs. If necessary, you can even add multiple accounts of the same service. For example, a couple of Skype, Facebook heels and there you still need.
Adapted chats look almost exactly like native applications, in difficult interface confusing. As to the functionality, text chat and send files available in full, but the function of audio and video works through a browser. For example, calls to the Facebook Messenger and Hangouts will open in a new Chrome tab.
Settings as those in the annex no. Leftmost icon is responsible for adding new accounts, there can also specify options for the delivery of notifications for each account. Setup services themselves are on the respective tabs.
Such a multi-chat, we waited a long time, but if we do not take into account a variety of Web services, more or less normal its implementation has not appeared. Let's hope that the creators of Franz did not abandon their offspring and continue to develop it. Now the messenger is only available in version for MacBut the developers say that the Windows application is on its way.
