Love Emoji, but do not like to mess with search and insert a smiley? Then this tool is for you. It magically changes the text in the appropriate input Emoji right in time.
In fact, to make the operating system to replace certain words Emoji can be standard means using the AutoCorrect text. That's the whole secret. Just open the keyboard settings and add text shortcuts that will be replaced by the dates of your Emoji. Okay, okay, just kidding. Drive a manual about a thousand cuts - activity unpleasant. There's a way simpler - Macmoji.
In fact, it's all the same, only the dirty work is already done for us. Good developers gathered in one plist-I've found a replacement for all Emoji and posted on GitHub. We can only add to the system and use it. It becomes simple.
1. Go to the project page and by making a right click on the link emoji substitutions.plist
, Choose "Save Link As ...".
2. Now open the "Settings» → «Keyboard» → «text».
3. And simply drag the downloaded plist-file whose name ends in the settings window.
Everything. Now, if you write : Smile:
and press the space bar, the text is replaced by Emoji. And just as with everything else.
The only negative - the words have to type in English. But can be replaced by shortcuts for the most used Emoji more suitable if you wish. For example, in Russian the word followed by a colon at the beginning, to get rid of false positives.
