How to sort messages in Gmail in size

For all its convenience and often irreplaceable, Gmail web interface is not able to sort your emails by size. This can be useful in a situation mailbox overflows and removing just a few "heavy mail" can solve the problem very quickly.
Sort messages by size can be done using Google Docs and Google Web Apps. The following instructions on how to do it.
By the way, earlier we told how to do this at a third-party service. The process described below is safer, since you do not go beyond the limits of your Google-account.
