Launch Automator and select the mode Custom. Automator to be in the same place, and all applications in Mac OS X - in Applications. You come here a window (Leopard, Tiger in a little bit different, but this is not essential):
On the left is the library with the elements and possible actions - 2 left column. A big empty box on the right - there we will drag actions, elements, etc and create our action chain.
Choose the left Files and Folders. The right column upgrade: get there Get Selected Finder Items. Drag this option in the large window. This will allow us to select the files and folders in the Finder, then to attach them.
Then in the left column, click on Mail and to the right of the Choose the New Mail Message. Similarly, drag this option in the right window under previously appeared block. In the screenshot below you can see how the new (
in future) Message can be pre-filled. For example, to insert the addressee, the message subject or some introductory text for the message. It is small, it is necessary to keep this as a workflow context menu for the Finder and use it. On the menu File Choose the avtomatora Save as Plug-In. In the window that appears, enter the name of the workflow and make sure the drop-down list Plug-in for He was listed Finder.
That's all! You can try it in action. For clarity, you can View demo (5 mb), which we have prepared for you.
