If you need to record what is happening on the screen of your computer, it is not necessary to resort to the help of special programs for creating screencasts. Today we'll show you how to deal with this problem by using YouTube.
YouTube is an extremely useful tool in the right hands. We already told you how to create with the help of this service, beautiful slideshow, edit video and even decrypt audio. And today we want to add to your piggy bank another tip, with which you can record and immediately upload to YouTube screencast without any additional tools.
- Go to YouTube using your Google account. Click in the upper right corner of the button "Add video".
- On the new page, on the right you will see a block "Live broadcasts". Click on "Start." If you do it the first time, the service will ask you to verify your phone number.
- Now you need to go to create a new translation. You can do this by selecting the left section "All broadcast" and then clicking on "Schedule a new event." Or simply go to this link.
- Give this broadcast any name and access settings, select "Restricted Access". Then click "Go Live".
- You will see a window titled Google Hangouts. In it you need to click on the button "Display screen" pop-up panel on the left. You will then be prompted to select a full-screen recording mode or choose the application where you want to capture the event.
- Click "Start broadcast". Start recording from the screen of your computer, but it is, of course, no one will see, because you set previously limited access to the broadcast.
After recording can close your Google Hangouts window and go to the YouTube video manager, where you will find and create a movie. You can edit it if necessary, and then publish, share the social networks or send an e-mail.
This method is useful for users who want to record instructional video, show any problem or its solution, and special tools for screencast not at hand.
