GTD in your notebook. Method of "dots" and "crosses"
Productivity / / December 23, 2019
Lifehacker writes frequently about the various programs and ways of doing things on the GTD methodology. Computer programs have many advantages but also many disadvantages, one finds for himself. We offer you a method of "circles", which is implemented only by means of any notebook and pen. The method does not replace your GTD-manager like OmniFocus, or system of conducting complex projects, but it will help cope with the flow of small tasks that fill your workday.
So that's the essence of the system, or rather, its system of notation Affairs:
Hollow circle - a new challenge.
Circle struck-one strip - a task to perform which you started.
Filled half circle - the task is done halfway.
a filled circle - mission accomplished.
Crossed diagonally circle - task canceled. Perform it is no longer necessary.
A filled circle with an arrow - the task is delegated to the program GTD or colleague. As part of the control of its execution does not need this list.
Exclamation point - the task has the highest priority.
A circle with a dot in the center - tasks requiring sustained attention. It does not have a high priority, but remember about its implementation must be constantly.
You can also use the numbering of tasks to define the run sequence. Right shifting tasks can be displayed nested tasks or subtasks.
And you use the planning affairs in the paper? What is the methodology? Or do you have one?
