In the pictures above intentionally disconnected the HDR, plus to this, the pictures were taken with the settings "out of the box." It all depends on personal preferences, but most people probably would have given a higher score iPhone. In both the smartphone-quality optics, so you should not have any problems either when shooting scenes with sufficient lighting or when taking pictures of the sky.

iPhone 6 Plus vs Galaxy Note 4: HDR-photo
iPhone 6 Plus, Galaxy Note 4 to the right to the left:
For this test on both smartphones it was included HDR, all other settings remain unchanged. At first it seemed that smartphones are "neck and neck", but then it became clear that the leaders pulled out one of them. The first example is a photo from a brick wall - it Galaxy Note 4 for some reason, "whitened" in red, while the iPhone 6 Plus has transferred these colors more accurately. But the redwoods on the third picture look better in Note 4. Also note the slight darkening of the image while the HDR the iPhone 6 Plus, it can be clearly seen on the fourth picture from the house. The difference is not too dramatic, but noticeable.
Both cameras show good results, but the Galaxy Note 4 pictures look more accurate and balanced.

iPhone 6 Plus vs Galaxy Note 4: macro
iPhone 6 Plus, Galaxy Note 4 to the right to the left:
Macro images and photos GRIP made from a single distance for both cells so close to the object as possible to focus. iPhone 6 Plus able to make more clear pictures with smaller distance than Galaxy Note 4. This is clearly seen in the last photo with a sheet.
As for the depth of field and bokeh effects to achieve, there is Galaxy Note 4 shows the best results thanks to the selective focus mode. Just turn it on and select the point where you want the focus. Due to the special features of the camera, will be made a few photos with different focus, you might even be able to change later. Moreover, this function is not simply there, and it works great.
The macro photo iPhone 6 Plus is the leader, but when it comes to shots with depth of field in the arsenal of the Galaxy Note 4 has a great gimmick.
Winner: Macro - iPhone 6 Plus, GRIP - Galaxy Note 4

iPhone 6 Plus vs Galaxy Note 4: photos in low light
iPhone 6 Plus, Galaxy Note 4 to the right to the left:
Pictures in low light is always very intriguing in such comparisons. In the first photo Note 4 showed significantly better results - higher brightness and less noise. Photos with the iPhone 6 Plus was not only darker, but also more noisy, which is quite strange. In the second photo iPhone 6 Plus is corrected by giving a more balanced stage, while the Note 4 showed slightly darkened image. Inside the iPhone 6 Plus shows its very good side, aligning the poor artificial lighting and without adding unnecessary yellow shades, which are inherent in all mobile cameras. A picture of a phone booth brighter in Note 4, however, the picture looks "faded".
It is difficult to pick a winner, but I am inclined to think that the iPhone 6 Plus is the best shooting indoors, while the Galaxy Note 4 clearly shows itself in poor outdoor lighting.
Winner: indoors - iPhone 6 Plus, naulitse - Galaxy Note 4

Stock flash can not be considered bad in any of the two chambers, but the differences in colors, will make a difference to some people. Through the use of True Tone flash in the iPhone 6 Plus, it can be expected warmer images. This is clearly seen in almost every picture. Again, this is a matter of taste, and is unlikely to be a determining factor in the selection.

iPhone 6 Plus vs Galaxy Note 4: photo zoom
iPhone 6 Plus, Galaxy Note 4 to the right to the left:
It is unlikely that there will be many fans of digital zoom, it is much easier to take a photo and then crop it if necessary. However, zoom in Galaxy Note 4 proved to be quite good, and even when the 8x the picture was not as grainy as you would expect. In the photo iPhone 6 Plus is the maximum zoom, while at the Galaxy Note 4 is still stock. In general, it also shows significantly better quality photos with the increase. Here in this Apple should learn from Samsung, a good zoom would not hurt us.
Winner: Galaxy Note 4

Galaxy Note 4 has better front camera than iPhone 6 Plus, as the resolution and meaningfully diaphragm. And this is clearly seen in the photo - frame coverage and less grainy picture. The only negative Note 4, is that it discolors the image in low light. In general, the front camera Note 4 ahead of the iPhone 6 Plus.

iPhone 6 Plus vs Galaxy Note 4: The panoramic photo
Top iPhone 6 Plus, below the Galaxy Note 4:
Both smartphones capture panoramic photos in the same way, automatically gluing them with the magic software. And both do their job perfectly well. The only difference between images with the iPhone 6 Plus is a brighter picture and better balance. This is evident in the last two photos, where the iPhone 6 Plus has turned out better define the exposure. Panoramas with Galaxy Note is also quite good, and even beautiful, but the darker it becomes the street, the more noticeable the difference in the lack of brightness in the picture.
