Fleksy - the only alternative keyboard for iOS
Ios / / December 22, 2019
One of the most anticipated innovations in iOS 8 is support for third-party keyboards. On the day of the release of new iOS keyboard showed his Swype, SwiftKey, TouchPal and Fleksy. Many of the "apple" resources slukavili and reviewed all of these keyboards. Why slukavili? Because they are useless because they do not have the support of the Russian language.
All but Fleksy. At the moment this is the only keyboard, which you can replace the standard keyboard in iOS. Is it worth it? Yes!
Enable keyboard you need in the menu "Settings" - "General" - "Keyboard". Here, click on "New keyboard" and choose Fleksy. You can then go to the settings of the application to adjust all parameters. I recommend to watch the tutorial as many chips Fleksy difficult to find on their own.
Fleksy supports different themes, and almost all of them - it's hell. Pink, yellow and green keyboard do not fit into the system itself, nor in my idea of beauty. However, silver and dark themes quite personal. Separately, it is worth noting personalization. You can open Fleksy access your accounts in Gmail, Facebook and Twitter, so that it has analyzed the commonly used words and made their own vocabulary.
By the way, the dictionary - this is another cool feature of this keyboard. The first few days to enjoy it quite uncomfortable. We have to bring all the new words in its database (swipe up on the keyboard), but a few days after Dictionary will be filled with frequently used words, Fleksy itself guesses what you want to write, and it does so quite OK.
In the setting of the keyboard, you can add languages to enable automatic setting capitalized keyboard sound and more. Unfortunately Fleksy far from ideal. Sometimes it flies, and in its place is becoming the standard iOS keyboard. And today, even flew all application settings, however, pleased that the dictionary was in place. All these problems iOS 8 itself, which is still quite bad. I think that in a couple of weeks will be released updates that everything is corrected.
Fleksy costs $ 0.99, and an extra dollar you can buy a few themes. Is it worth the money? Yes, yes and yes. Even now, it is much steeper than the standard iOS keyboard, and while SwiftKey and Swype will not add Russian layout in their applications, Fleksy remains the only worthwhile option.
